Gianluca Ferremi’s Report on Mobile World Congress
Motive Television concluded an extremely successful participation at MWC 2013 in Barcelona. Characterized by a very high attendance and a frantic volume of activity, the show this year was particularly important for Motive because of the launch of the new video distribution solution for 4G networks, Mocast.
The show was the ideal stage to test both the acceptance and the potential of Mocast as it represented a unique opportunity to meet and present Mocast to the global 4G market.
The outcome has been positive beyond expectation. During the 4 days of the show Motive met with more than 50 leading companies in the development and distribution of technology solutions and services for 4G networks.
The extremely high conversion rate into leads (more than 30 leads generated) from the above meetings prove undeniably that there is very strong interest for Mocast and that it has been largely accepted as an innovative solution that reduces content distribution costs and increases content revenues for 4G operators, especially during peak hours.
The success of the launch confirms Motive’s excitement at the opportunity that Mocast represents and renews Motive's commitment toward the 4G market as a key strategic target.
