Motive Television Signs Contract with Siyaya Free to Air TV (PTY) LTD
Motive Television PLC (AIM: MTV.LN), the London-based television software and services company, announces that its 100 percent owned subsidiary, Motive Television Services Ltd. (Motive) has entered into an agreement with Siyaya Free To Air TV (PTY) Ltd. of Johannesburg, South Africa (Siyaya). Motive will provide advisory services to Siyaya in conjunction with Siyaya’s application to the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) for a broadcasting services licence. This agreement follows the Memorandum of Understanding entered into with Siyaya for the use of Motive's Anytime Anywhere technology as announced on 18 July 2012.

London 7 February 2013:  Motive Television PLC (AIM: MTV.LN), the London-based television software and services company, announces that its 100 percent owned subsidiary, Motive Television Services Ltd. (Motive) has entered into an agreement with Siyaya Free To Air TV (PTY) Ltd. of Johannesburg, South Africa (Siyaya). Motive will provide advisory services to Siyaya in conjunction with Siyaya’s application to the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) for a broadcasting services licence.  This agreement follows the Memorandum of Understanding entered into with Siyaya for the use of Motive's Anytime Anywhere technology as announced on 18 July 2012.

Siyaya has been shortlisted for a television broadcasting licence and Motive will assist Siyaya in endeavoring to win a licence and subsequently implementing its plans.  Motive’s services under this contract will include preparation of plans and product strategy, development of designs and specifications to be used by hardware manufacturers, evaluation and selection of set-top box manufacturers, and assisting in planning for presentations to ICASA.  Motive will also advise Siyaya in technical and commercial planning for their new services.

Under this agreement, in the event that the licence is awarded to Siyaya, Motive intends to enter into a further agreement with Siyaya to install and implement the technical, management and administration systems and processes for the implementation of the project and the roll out plan.

Previously, on 18 July 2012, Motive Television PLC announced that it has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Siyaya Free to Air (Pty) Ltd of Johannesburg, South Africa (Siyaya) for the use of Motive's Anytime Anywhere technology in a new pay television service for the South African market.

Commenting on the new client and contract, Leonard M Fertig, Motive’s CEO said,
