Statement re: Legal action against Motive
Motive Television PLC has noted an article published in the media this morning concerning a court hearing taking place tomorrow.

Motive Television PLC, the digital television technology, software, and services provider, has noted an article published in the media this morning concerning a court hearing taking place tomorrow.
 
The article relates to Mr Vanyi-Robin (a 0.5 per cent shareholder) seeking damages from Motive for breach of contract under English law.
 
The Directors confirm that they have sought legal advice in relation to the claim and intend to vigorously defend any action against the Group. The Directors have been advised that in the unlikely event that the Group was to lose the claim the amount of damages would be significantly below the amount referred to in the article.
 
A further announcement will be made in due course.
